Oh my, so, where to start? I guess... well, Lisa and I got to the venue around 10:45 and kind of... meandered around with a few LPUers until... well, more arrived. We were passing out Breaking the Habit flyers to people in line, and this one guy refused a flyer because he was "on the show". We later found out it was Ben from No Warning. After a while, we kinda... sat under a tree and talked, waiting for other LPUers to show up, which they did, including Manda (krylon_skies). Eventually, most of the LPUers left to get in their separate lines to get into the venue, because we had to wait for Mansi (xchopstick_lp) to give her the tickets. But! This one guy, Mike, waited with us and he was really awesome.

So anyhow. Mansi came and we all went in. We all found the Machine Shop Marketing booth (with some difficulty) and helped out until all of the massive amounts of flyers we were given were passed out. It was like, extremely hot at that point, so we went into this shady area where there were pictures of people who had performed at Shoreline (the Dalai Lama was one there, too, lmfao). We sat there for around the rest of the time until we went into the venue and such. There was a woman passing out condoms, so I took one, and Lisa blew it up. She named it Sylvester and wrote/drew all over it. Everyone was like, staring at us and it was amusing beyond belief.

We went in to the venue during Less Than Jake to look at our seats and I think I seriously almost vomited. We were EXTREMELY close to the stage. We left so I wouldn't freak out anymore than I already had, and then... came back later for Snoop. I like, needed a refreshment and the air was really thick in there, so I left and felt all woozy and dizzy so sat down for a few minutes. Lisa and my father came out a few minutes later, I'm not sure if Snoop's set was done or not. Whatever. >_<; By that time, people had begun to line up for the meet and greet, and I was getting REALLY anxious. Manda and I sat down outside the line so we could be near the end, and... yeah. We got in the line when it seemed everyone had gone in, except this one father-guy who was actually really nice. I had planned to call Lisa whilst meeting them, but then, she ran over and said, "I bought a meet and greet pass." And I started fucking freaking out, and I hugged her, like, fifty times. We were like, really giddy, lmfao. She then explained that this girl didn't want to ditch her friend (who was apparently really upset about it) so she needed to give away a meet and greet pass. Lisa bought it right away, obviously.

After waiting for what felt like hours, the meet and greet line started moving. I started, like, dying when I saw Brad's 'fro and took a few pictures from where I was to the table (Brad kept staring at my phone, because, well, I was taking a picture primarily of him). When I finally got up there, guhhh. I think I died. I mean, like, I was a lot more composed than I was when I first met them, and I made sure to like, kind of talk to them. Yah.

Brad: I shook Brad's hand and got a picture -nods- I was too flustered at that point to say anything. I think he said something about my street team shirt, because I know none of the others did and I'm almost positive one of them said something about it. O_o
Chester: Chester was after Brad and I made sure to say my short little speech to him. My eyes started welling up with tears, :|. He said, "thank you very much" (and something I didn't catch), smiled really sweetly, and shook my hand. OH, YEAH. And he was writing "butt hole" backwards on the meet and greet table, XD.
Phoenix: He said hi, and offered his hand for a hand shake like Chester did. I took a picture of him, yay.
Joe: Lmfao. Joe held his fist out, so I hit it with my fist, and then he grabbed my arm. :D He did the same to Lisa, he was pretty nice.
Rob: He asked me how I was, la, and I grinned and told him I was great, thank you. He shook my hand and I took a picture.
Mike: Mikkkkke. KDJgldkfjg.
"Is that your real hair color?"
"Yeah. -nods-"
"Wow, it's so pretty. -signs- It's really cool." Then I think he started to say something like, "I wish I..." but then he stopped himself, no idea why.
After that, I shook his hand and he grinned really big at me, but I was too like, -squee- to take a picture.

After the meet and greet, I like, totally burst into tears. I hugged Manda really tight and then she had to leave for the lawn area. Lisa called her mom and this security guy came up to me and asked if I was alright because I was crying. I explained about meeting them and he was like, "...oohhhh. So, really happy tears?" I nodded and he left. Lisa finished calling her mom and we went down and saw, like, the last two songs of Korn's set. They weren't... bad, but I didn't really like them either. I probably would have liked them a lot more if I hadn't just met Linkin Park. Ahahaha. They finished, and Lisa got a guitar pic. She's going to cut in half, XD. Since forever ago, we promised ourselves if we ever got any band stuff, to share it. Anyhow, so, the Projekt Revolution banner came down and... wow.

After around twenty minutes or so, the lights went dim and the first thing you could see was Brad's 'fro behind the curtain (which was hilarious, by the way). The curtain was lifted up, and... oh my god. It was amazing.

Mike came over and looked and Lisa and I and grinned at least a few times, which was so wonderful. My father took A LOT of digital pictures before security told him to put it away, and Lisa took three disposables full.

Hm. Phoenix went up behind to where Joe was, and they were like, talking about something or other during a song and I was like, :D. Same with Brad and Rob, Brad went over to Rob and was like, trying to talk to him, but Rob was like, not listening. Or, he was, but he was drumming instead of talking to Brad, lmfao. Brad and Phoenix were like, running up one of the ramps at one point and Phoenix, like, fell face front and flipped over on his ass. He was cracking up and just kept playing bass, lmfao.

After "It's Goin' Down" - well, the IGD in the medley - the Ivan the Urban Action Figure guy came on and was doing some flips and shit. And then this guy came on and like, took off this towel, and he had this woman's tank top and some weird bottoms on, and lmfao. There was also a guy who like, had his stomach hanging out of his shirt and we were like, O_o;. Chester, Mike, and Brad got close together and Ivan the Urban Action Figure jumped over them (Lisa got a picture of it, too!). Afterward, Chester was like, "HOW FUCKING DISTURBING WAS THAT!?" Referring to the fairly overweight guy and the one hardly anything, I assume. XD

During "Faint", Chester walked over to Phoenix and said "I am" right into his ear. And, later during the song or... a bit after, don't remember which, he like, stared at Phoenix and pushed his chest so he would move. He did shit like that a few other times, it was really funny.

Oh yes, sometime during the set, Chester was crooning something like, "Ohhhhhh, Chesssssterrrrr, you're SOOOO fineee." It was so funny. He also said, "COME ON YOU FUCKING FAGGOTS," or something, but afterwards was like, doing some weird apology about it. XD; HE WAS ALSO. OH MY GOD. HIS SOCKS WERE BLACK AND RAINBOW. AFKhfjkhdfkg.

Before "Breaking the Habit", Mike thanked all of us for voting for the Viewer's Choice award and stuff and how happy they were to win it. And god. "Breaking the Habit" was beautiful. I was nearly crying.

OH OH. During this one song, Brad was like, doing this weird ass thing with his guitar on purpose (well, says my dad), and Chester kept staring at him like, wtf stop that. He kicked his ass (like, literally) during the song and then after, when Brad was standing on one of the riser things, Chester took his gatorade (I think it was, anyway) and splashed it on Brad. He said something like, "This guy can't even do anything fucking right!" And then he started playing the chords to some song that sounded familiar but I couldn't quite figure out what it was.<strike> But Lisa told me (I didn't hear this bit) that they said it was a sample of some new stuff or something like that.</strike> I was listening to my LPU 2.0 CD after I got home last night and it was A.06, I'm positive. And then I couldn't tell at all what the song they played after A.06 was (hi I could not hear well), but a few LPUers have been saying it was "Sweet Child O Mine" which would explain why it sounded SO DAMN FAMILIAR. EDIT Okay, so, it was "Sweet Child O Mine", and like. You know how they did it in Germany (well, the first bit) three-ish years ago? WELL. They did the end of the song, and earlier Chester said to Brad, "This guy can't fucking finish what he starts!" (although, he still was all ">:D" at Brad when he was doing that weird stuff with the guitar). So, uhm. Yeah. XD So they finally finished the cover, indeed. Yes, I am an idiot. (Mansi explained all of this to me, haha). So, basically, they played A.06, "Sweet Child O Mine" (the last half), and then Wish. Yes. [/edit] They then, of course, went into "Wish" and hearing Chester scream "fist fuck" and jamming his fist into the hair is like, -dies happy-. Oh, yeah, and right before "Wish", Chester hit Rob's cymbals with his microphone.

"One Step Closer" was just... amazing. I'm in awe, it was such a beautiful ending, with the fireworks, and... guhh.

At the end, Chester said, "I LOVE YOU!" really loudly (well, I thought he said 'I love Mike', but that's unlikely and Lisa and my dad told me he said 'you', which makes a lot more sense). But, anyhow, after he did that, he and Mike hugged and like, touched each other for a while and akdjsfklg. If only we had film left at that point, huh?

When they were throwing stuff out to the crowd, Lisa almost got Brad's towel but this dude next to us did. So we were kinda like, "huffs", but then Mike stared at us and threw his water bottle right at us. We both caught it and when we did, he grinned and laughed and said, "You two split it, okay? You cut it in half. -does a scissor motion thing-". And after we had gotten over the shock that Mike Shinoda had spoken to us FROM STAGE and we were holding his water bottle, we both grabbed it, and like, totally licked and sucked on the top, aahhahaha. We were probably making out with each other and the bottle at that point, but the fuck if we cared. The whole way back we were holding the bottle together and Lisa took it home to cut it in half (her dad has like, a saw or something that would work well, lmfao).

God. It all feels so surreal. The concert was fucking INCREDIBLE (even though I'm like, describing little details), and... I can't explain it. I feel like crying right now, because... it's just. It's indescribable. Linkin Park means so fucking much to me that it doesn't even feel like it happened. They are amazing people and... I can't even explain it.

EDIT Manda told me this on LPU just now:
"ANNIE. I don't know if you know this, but at one point during LP's set, I saw you and Lisa on the big screen rocking out. :)"
Squeak! That's so cool. They, like, showed us on their nifty big screen. :D

Yeah, uhm, my pictures were blurry as hell because I was shaking so badly (I took them from my camera phone). But Lisa said she probably got really good ones, so I can't wait for those to be developed. The massive amounts of lovely concert photos are coming soon. :D

This was the only one that wasn't incredibly blurry. He looks so pissed off though XD.

A BLUR OF JOE.

I want to know that you're actually reading what I say. After all, if you don't want to read my entries, why add me?

03; You're openly discriminatory. No explanation needed, is there?

04; You know me in person. I'm sorry if you do and want to be added, but I only feel comfortable with a few people I've met reading my journal, and those individuals are already on my friend's list.

05; You plan on taking what I write here and posting it elsewhere, or sharing it with people not on my friend's list. What's written here stays here, alright?

06; You don't want to deal with someone incredibly emotional. I am very moody and prone to posting whenever I'm at an emotional extreme.

07; You don't want to hear me gush about people and things I love. For instance, I adore Linkin Park, and if you don't, that's fine; however, some of my posts will be about Linkin Park and you may not want to read that.

Despite all of that, I'm very open to meeting new people and love getting new friends. So, go ahead and comment to be added. Tell me who you are and why you want to add me and there's a good chance I'll add you. However, please do not simply add me without commenting. I won't add you back so there's really no point, is there?

Thanks.
